Prague to Frankfurt
I've been looking for a cheap air-fare on this route with a lot of the smaller carriers and can't find anything. The train seems like it would take forever and I don't mind paying $100 or $150, but I can't find anything at all even close to this price. Is it wishful thinking on my part?

I believe that this route is only covered by Lufthansa and Czech Airlines. The fare is lower for either if you purchase from Czech (they have a code share). It seems that the lowest round trip is just under $300 unless you wait and get lucky with an e-fare at the last minute.

Thinking/looking back to your earlier post - - http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34478750 - - I am curious how this itinerary of yours is shaping up. I suspect that there are plenty of places to party between Prague and Frankfurt - - any reason to ping pong all over this territory?
I think a car would be my preferred mode, but it depends on where you are coming from to get to Prague. Or you can fly Prague to Koeln/Bonn or Stuttgart, and then train fro there. Best wishe, Rex |
Rex, I am actually doing things other than "partying" although I suspect that's the only part of my post that most people read. I've got a ff ticket booked where I can fly out of Frankfurt and I'd like to spend the last couple of days before I leave in Prague. I'm thinking about moving some things around and spending the nights prior to leaving in Munich.

How are you getting TO Prague? (i.e., coming from where, by what mode?)
