Prague Restaurant?

I'll be four nights in Prague and need a recommendation for a great upscale restaurant.

We just visited Prague in Sept. and our travel guide recommended Hergetova Cihelna. Loved it! Also would recommend Hybernia www.hybernia.cz

The French/art nouveau restaurant in the Municipal would be a fine choice if you are interested in the architectural interior and a good meal with extraordinary desserts.

I can second Hergetova - we loved it. http://www.cihelna.com/ Location is wonderful and food was great too. A must.

maybe look up thingorjus's report, "Turkey in the Straw" -- she tends to discuss restaurants, and the reports are always entertaining.

Flambee, is IMO, the finest restaurant in Prague. Cetainly a gourmet restaurant of the highest order.
Flambee Restaurant,
Husova 5,
Old Town.

It's not cheap but then you asked for a great upscale restaurant. You'll love it.

Ok - just returned from dinner at Hergetova Cihelna. Not great.
This would be a "B" restaurant in any American city. Because it's on the river here it's popular. Service was absymal, the food just ok, and the decor is tired.
But, the dining in Prague so far has not be stellar. So maybe it is the best here.
