Prague: Possible Charles Bridge Closing
 

Just read this article in the Prague Post. Tourists should probably try to keep up to date on the repair schedule for the bridge, just in case it will be closed at all. It would be a shame if it were your one & only visit there, and the bridge was closed that day!
Also, if there are heavy repairs, hotels under the bridge might get some noise? At least that's my guess.

I was there during the 2002 flood, and it was very eerie seeing the bridge closed off.

Thanks for the info, amp. I'm heading to Prague in July, so I guess I'll see firsthand what's going on then.

A McWalk window? hmmmm.....

I'll be there in early April and let you know if it's gotten under way.

I'll be there in early September. I read the link amp322 posted, and I can see where that guy is coming from, but I really wanted to see the statues lining the bridge.
