Prague on my own
I can;t find anyone to go to Prague with me. I am 65 and I think young for my age.
Can I go on my own? Thanks, Molly |
why the hell not?
|
Of course you can.
|
Age has nothing to do with it.
Prague is easily walkable and lovely. |
Absolutely. I wouldnt think twice about going by myself.
|
Absolutely! And the bonus will be that you can do whatever you want whenever you want! I always travel on my own, and find it quite a wonderful indulgence. And Prague is VERY easy to visit solo. Go for it, Molly!
|
Of course you can! Why would you think otherwise? I did Prague, C.Krumlov, Vienna, and Budapest on my own... no tours, etc. in my mid-50's with no problem.
Have a great time! |
>>>Richardson says: why the hell not?<<<
My sentiments exactly. Go, girl! |
yes it is a great city to wander around on your own.very safe , great transport system loads of fantastic bars, cafes and resturants, wonderful buildings and museums to discover, parks and gardens galore, loads of cultural stuff to enjoy in the evenings.
when do you hope to visit? |
I should have mentioned that I am in your age group and went to Prague by myself and after that I rented a car and drove around the Czech Republic by myself. Driving by myself was much harder than seeing Prague alone.
Perhaps you would get more reassurance if you say what disturbs you about traveling alone. Here's a link to a thread of solo trip report which I believe are mostly written by women. Maybe you'll get some inspiration from some of them. http://www.fodors.com/community/trav...collection.cfm |
