prague- Old Jewish cemetery

Hello

I will be in Prague this Saturday only for one day and I found out that the cemetery will be closed.

Is there a way of looking at it from the outside ?
Are the synagogues closed too?

You walk down the street and search for tiny windows in the wall. It was closed while I was there as well. Disappointing. But the city is magical so you will find plenty to see. Enjoy!!

You can get a good view of the cemetery from a window in ladies' room of the nearby museum of decorative arts (I don't remember the exact name of the museum).

I Looked it up. It's called "Museum of Decorative Arts" in some books and "Museum of Applied Arts" in others. Ulice 17 Listopada 2 Staré Mesto Prague 1

Nice little untouristy museum with, if I recall correctly, cheaper admission than the cemetery itself.

Unfortunatley you will not be able to visit inside the SYNAGOGUES of Prague, or "INSIDE THE Cemetary" as it will be the SABBATH, and all are closed.
Unfortunate, as it was a special part of the sights I had visited, while in Prague.

BUT, As other posters have commented on above, you will be able to walk down the street and have a slight "view.'

Mllefifi's suggestion is the best one, it seems to me. One of the "local experts" on Tripadvisor.com Prague forum recommends the same thing.

The Museum of Decorative Arts is a really great little museum. I highly recommend it.
