Prague instead of Milan/Italy

My wife, our 10 month old, myself and my mother in law made plans a long time ago to spend 2 days in Milan (March 11-13). With the coronavirus Milan quarantines and shutdowns of many things there we were planning a 2 day roadtrip I’m the Alps instead. Now with the increased coronavirus impact (we’re mainly worried about not being able to leave or having to potentially be quarantined afterwards due to our flight leaving from Milan) we are considering flying to Prague and spending March 11-13 there. Neither of us have ever been. Any suggestions on what to do and see over a 2 day period to get the most out of this redirected and changed trip?
we enjoy walking, history, architecture and stunning views.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

We were just in Prague last month. It is beautiful and there is so much to see! I highly recommend doing the Bright and Early morning tour with Naked Tour Guide (no they are not naked, lol). It starts at 8am, so you get to see the city and learn about it without the hoards of people, especially on the Charles Bridge. Your little one should be just fine on it. There is the castle of course, but also a zoo on the way up to it. If you could the walking tour your first morning, that can help you determine what else you want to see more in depth.

Prague is delightful! But with only two days, you will need to be very selective in what you try to see and do. A good guidebook should prove invaluable. The cost would be nugatory in comparison to the cost of your trip, and you can also consult one at a local library or bookstore.
