Need help!!! Going to Prague in mid-May, saw a lot of hotel suggestions and seems like Cloister Inn is the key...BUT!!! they are all booked!!!! can someone help out?? I need a good suggestion. Clean room, centrally located, friendly staff...thanks!

I don't know how many of you there are, but there is a family hotel with all suites not to far from old town. The name is Orion and the suites were starting at $70.00 a year ago.<BR>Enjoy the beautiful city.<BR>Art<BR>

You had better find a booking agency or something quick. Avetravel is one, so is Marys which I've heard good recommendations for, which is online http://www.marys.cz<BR>There are plenty of others if you use a search engine, I found a lot when I was planning my trip. I just wanted to warn you that Prague is one of the most popular tourist cities in Europe right now, and your time period is during their famous International Music Festival which runs every year from around 5/10 to first week in June. Hotels are booked up months ahead of time for May because of that; I went during May specifically to go to that festival and booked my hotel in January, I believe, hotels were getting full already at that point. The book Cheap Sleeps in Prague, Budapest, Vienna is good for budget Prague hotels. It sounds like you want something cheaper than I stayed at or am most familiar with, so I can't recommend something personally. I'd suggest you might consider the Betlem Club as a good budget choice similar to the Cloisters and very near it; that place is listed in Marys.

I stayed at the Betlam Club and liked it. Also, I stayed at the Pensione Unitas which was very clean and very cheap! (The bathroom and shower are down the hall from your room, but the room was about $38 per night). Have a great time.

hi there, as an addition to the sites already mentioned, we used prague.nethotels.com for our hotel reservation back in october. they have over 350 hotels in prague to choose from, and if you can't get want to you need from that, use their local call center in prague for personal assistance. it is a free service from them. <BR>good luck and happy travels.
