Prague Card - Is it worth the money?

Can someone tell me if it worth buying a Prague Card (740CZK)? www.praguecard.biz. On looking at the website, we probably wouldn't spend a full 740CZK each on individual attractions, but might come out not too far under that. Given, how crowded Prague can be (we are going in May), is it a good time saver in terms of queues for the attractions, and thus get an extra benefit in this way? We will be in Prague for at least four days so will get the opportunity to use it for some things that those who go for only 2-3 days haven't got time for. Also, I read somewhere that if you buy a ticket for Prague Castle you can use it over two days. Is this correct? If you use the pass you are limited to going only once. Is there any point in returning to the castle a second time anyway?

I know that I wouldn't bother to buy a London Pass, but have in the past enjoyed the Paris Museum Pass because it has allowed me to pop in quickly to a number of places that I wouldn't have otherwise bothered with. I was hoping that this Prague Card may give me that same sort of benefit.

The only thing you're likely to find real lines for is Prague Castle, and you can use your ticket there on two consecutive days (the cost of the castle is about half the cost of the Prague Card if you get the hole deal), though in my opinion, it's hardly worth it even there to buy the full ticket. I'd just add up the cost of the sights you think you might want to see and judge by price alone. There is nothing in Prague on the order of the Louvre or the Colisseum, where lines are a considerable problem to deal with and where it's worthwhile to seek out alternatives solely to get around them. Prague will be packed with tourists, however, much more than it was when I went in late October, so you may wish to wait and get some advice for someone who's been in-season.
