Prague and Amsterdam or London or Berlin in 7 nights?

I am leaving JFK or Newark on about June 3 with 24yo daughter for a short mom-daughter trip to Europe.
We are likely to fly on Sunday and return on Tues. She has her heart set on Prague.
We have both been to Europe before, mostly to France,Spain and Italy.

I originally wanted to go to London again but with the Jubilee and Olympics I thought it might be best not to do so.

That being said, we want to see Prague and one other place, Berlin, Amsterdam? London?
We like walking, eating, museums; not into bars, nightlife.

We would travel to Berlin by train and discount jet to the others.

Which would you choose? Are we crazy, should we just stay in Prague?
Any suggestions as to areas? I keep hearing old town but I also understand you get zip around by tram.

Thanks for you help and happy travels.

Prague is lovely and relatively small.....same goes for Amsterdam.
Don't know about connections..
Berlin is interesting for art and history lovers and closer to Prague.
You might consider Prage for3 days, Berlin 4 . train in between - about four hours.

A few years ago we went to Munich, Vienna and Prague—you might want to consider Vienna. It has some lovely museums, gorgeous architecture—we travelled by train between each city but I can't remember exact times.

Berlin is also a great museum city—we purchased a three day museum pass that was an excellent value. It's a large, spread out city—not nearly as walkable as Prague—but they do have great public transit.

We visited Berlin and Prague in one eight day trip. We took the train between the two cities, and got off in Dresden for about 6 hours just to see how it had changed since we were last there (a lot!) It was a very nice trip, and 4 days each was perfect. I have also been to amsterdam, and it would also be an excellent choice, although I don't know about connections from Prague. I wouldn't put London in the mix this time.

If you opt for Amsterdam you can fly Easyjet, Czech airlines or KLM. Easyjet will be the cheapest if you book early enough.
Alternatively there is a night train direct from Prague to Amsterdam. It is fairly cheap if you book it early enough and don't mind sitting all the way. Once you get into booking beds it starts to get expensive.

Having said all that Berlin is perhaps a more logical partner to Prague, or as outwest suggests Vienna.

Thanks so much for your incredibly helpful replies. Some follow up questions...
1. Is the train ride scenic between Prague and Berlin,
2. Is it difficult to get to the Prague airport? I have never flown the cheap airlines, is it stressful to do so?
3.If I chose Berlin I will have to do a plane change but can fly nonstop back from Amsterdam.
4. Any suggestion on Prague first or last? Weekends or weekdays.
5. Any hotel suggestions, under $250 a night and nonsmoking rooms, quiet.
Thanks so much.

I did not think the train ride from Prague to Berlin was
anything special.
Where is "back"...from Amsterdam.??
Prague is small and easy to get around...if you suffer from jet-lag, I would stay there first and then go to Berlin.
Easyjet has very strict rules regarding luggage...check
the web page.
