Prague Accomidations

My wife and young daughter and I are visiting Prague in July for a week. Does anyone know of a neat flat or appartment where we can stay in town? We want a really neat cozy flat with a small kitchen if it exists in Prague.

Thx.

We're just back from Prague in May.
If you want to rent a flat with kitchen and within city center. It might be quite late now.
As far as I know there're some travel agencies there own their own appartments. You can check with them. We rent flats in Prague and have a very good time with adequate facilities.

I agree that this coule be very unlikely at this late date, or even a good hotel as the best ones are probably booked. Prague is one of the most heavily-visted tourist cities in Europe in the summer. However, I think you can view some apartment rentals by Mary's accommodation service, they have some nice ones (www.marys.cz) and I've heard recommendations for them. I don't know of other agencies except Toms Travel which I've read terrible things about for apartments. If I were you, I'd invest in Sandra Gustafson's book "Cheap Sleeps in Prague, Vienna and Budapest" as she lived there a long time and writes good books on budget eating and accommodations, she discusses apartment rentals also and lists a few choices, I think. Anyway, such a flat exists (I saw a couple I'd love on Mary's site, the Josephov quarter is a great location) but I don't think you'll get them. I was just there a month ago so did a lot of research on accommodations.
Yes, Mary's is quite good. During our stay in Prague last month, we choosed two of their appartments. Both the location and the quality is superb!
One is on Jewish quarter, the other is at Karlova Street!
Personally I do recommend their service and appartments.
You can visit www.marys.cz to check it out.
