Prague

Thank you fodorites for your Prague and Vienna recommendations. (We stayed at the Hotel Paris and Hotel Koenig von unger) My daughter and I fell in love with Prague and can't wait to go back and explore more of the Czech Republic. Highly recommend all fodorites check out Croatia. You can't go wrong staying at any of the many villages along the Adriatic, beautiful blue water, great food, lots of accommodations in homes ( rooms advertised as Sobe/Zimmer) overly inexpensive, excellent value for the dollar.

CHRISTA7:
glad you had a nice Prague visit, I will be going to Prague for the first time in November.
I am starting to put together the "restaurant" game plan.

Where did you Eat in Prague, any places you would like to "share?"

Bailey:
your photos were wonderful.

I hope to be in Prague (via London) by Wednesday night (I'm still throwing my last-minute Europe trip together, though the stress is finally subsiding!). I have reserved my first two nights at a hotel in Prague and will go from there - I have ten nights to play with in Eastern Europe before flying back to London and then home to the USA. Hotels are very tight the night I am to arrive but a friend recommended an obscure place she found when she met the owner while studying in Prague last summer. It's close to the castle; not crazy about the shared bathroom situation but the price looks good, the location too!

I too have profited from all the posts and trip reports here over the years, and I hope to add my bit when I get back. Thanks everyone!

Andrew
