Prada Outlets
We're travelling to Milan and Florence. Does anyone know where the Prada outlet is? Is it in Milan? and where exaclty? (The women in my group would kill me if I don't find out and take them there.) thanks

A man after my own heart.

There is a huge outlet outside of Milan, but I don't know anything about.

Here is a link. Prada, Gucci, Loro Piana, Armani, YSL, Fendi, and more. There are also tour buses from Florence that are outlet shopping tours. Go to Prada first thing in the morning, be there 20 min. before it opens to get a number. The others are not as crazy.

http://www.intuscany.net/guides/shopping_spacci.htm

Happy Shopping.
Prada outlet is at a town called Montevecchio about 1 hr car ride south of FLorence. It's deep into the town after the gas station in a saw toothed factory on your left.

Gucci outlet is in a town called Lecchio 1-2 exits south of Florence. It is in a cafe beside a field quite far from the highway.

Do a search on Conde Naste and you'll find more. Happy Shopping!

In milano you can find several outlets. A site with a good list of addresses is http://www.milanoin.it/shopping/spec...cci/spacci.asp, but it has not been updated and I know that another large outlet has recently oepend in Milano, in the Barona area.

I visited the Montevarchi outlets several times. They are incredible. If you have any specific questions, please e-mail me.

Prada is incredible!!! The Gucci outlet is great- but a little more hit and miss. There is also a Dolce and Gabbana outlet, but I felt it was more on the procey side for an outlet, and some of the items they carried were a few years old. If you are a shoe lover, my favorite was Sergio Rossi. I bought boots for around 140 US dollars that I saw at Saks upon my return for 650 dollars.
