Hi Laura <BR> <BR>I don't know how I found this website but check www.torben.com. They list Prada under shoes not clothes so does that mean they don't sell clothes? But there is an address, and some directions i hope this is the location you were looking for.

Hi Laura, I wa just there about two and a half weeks ago. It's actually called I Pelletteria d'Italia and it's on S69 in the town of Levanelle, just past Montevarchi. It's open from 9:30 am - 1:00pm and 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm. The phone number is 011 39 055 978 9188. We drove there from Gaiole. You go east on 408 towards Montevarchi (which you pass through) until you get to the intersection where you turn right to pick up the S69. Go a few miles to the 2nd IP Gas Station, and it's across the street on the left behind the Marconi building. There's a small brown sign with yellow writing that lists it but it's kind of hidden. After you make the left turn, vere to the left and you'll see the grey industrial building with the white sawtooth roof. Have fun. It's great. Everyone speaks english. I got there at 11:30 and therew was no line, but the tour bus of people had bought out every keychain in sight by then. It's about 25 minutes from Gaiole.

Yes, I too would like to know what kind of prices we are talking about. There is a new Prada shop here in LA and their sales are great. However, a friend of mine leaves for Italy in two weeks and we wear the same shoe size,sooo.... <BR> <BR>Waiting with baited breath in LA, <BR>Michele

The prices at the Prada outlet were pretty good. I got a great pair of loafers for about $110. wallets were about $50.00 - $60.00. I bought a nylon shoulder bag for about $90.00. The makeup cases were about $20.00. There were leather hip bags for $90.00 as well as lots of other leather and nylon bags that were probably a couple hundred dollars. It's not like walking into a Prada store in terms of how current all the items are, but there are some great things to be had. Lots of clothes for women and men (Miu Miu). It's really great for gifts. I did, however, purchase a very current and awesome bag at the Prada store in Rome and it was about a third of the U.S. price and am waiting for my tax refund on top of that. So if you can't make it to the outlet, at least the stores are a discount. I'd say, if you were within a half hour drive, it's worth it, even if it's not all extremely current. Happy shopping.

Most things are 50%off retail (U.S.)and last season. But its just great and worth the visit.

Prada stuff is a good 40-50% cheaper than the US in any of the Prada stores in Italy (Rome, Florence, Venice, Milano). IMO, I don't see the need to go to the outlet just to find old stuff no one else wants. You can get this year's line, still at bargain prices. <BR> <BR>Cheers
