Power strip plugged into adapter?
If I use a Magellan EA23MDG adapter, can I plug into it a multi plug or strip so that I can charge more than one thing at a time?

The adapter merely fits the ply into the wall receptacle so yes, you can put the adapter on a power strip.

Yes - Using a power strip with an adapter was one of the best travel tips I ever benefited. I was traveling with a crazy number of plug adapters until I read about using a power strip - I have a small one with four outlets from Monster via Amazon.

Yes, do it all the time at my house in France (which sometimes has serious power issues). It works.

Unfortunately, as you have not indicated your home country on your member profile, it´s just a guess as to what type of voltage your power source is designed for.
Assuming your intention is to use a 110vac power strip plugged into a 220vac power source, theoretically the strip will function properly as long as it contains no switches, LEDs, fuses, or surge suppression. If you 110vac strip does contain any of these features, the 220vac source could burn the strip and render it useless. Never attempt to connect a 220vac strip into a 110vac source as 220vac wiring may not have sufficient capacity to handle the increased current of a 110vac source. Ideally, use a strip designed for either 110vac or 220vac inputs: http://tinyurl.com/qbrotuy |
Jeeze - just saw the typo in my post (iPad mini auto correct strikes again ;) )
