Potteries in England and Wales

I am looking for suggestions of potteries to visit within driving distance from Hereford England. We are are looking for stoneware plates, coffee cups etc.. as opposed to bone china so I'm not thinking about Wedgewood. I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

Thanks

Thanks for the info and links, I'll take a look at them today. I'm also looking for info from people who may have visited potteries in this region for personal favorites.

Thanks

The potteries are in a part of England that has had a lot of foot and mouth disease. I'd combine a potteries tour with seeing the fabulous scenery of the nearby Peak District National Park - great for hiking or horseback riding, as well as driving through.

But ask the Herefordshire people about the impact of F&M in the area. Who knows - it might even be cheaper for tourists there because of it!
