Potsdam - Sanssouci

My wife and I will be independently traveling in Germany in mid September using a rental car. We are experienced travelers in Europe and have a flexible schedule. We have been to Berlin on another trip but not to Potsdam.

We will be in the Dresden area for 3-4 days and are considering a side trip to Sanssouci. My wife is very limited in the amount of walking she can do. I seem to recall reading something about a tour of the park on a horse drawn wagon but I am unable to locate any information on this or any other options for those with limited mobility.

Any information would be appreciated.

In order to get some replies, I guess my title needed a question mark at the end.

Why don't you contact the Potsdam tourist office. The link below is for their on-line inquiry. I would be specific when you write. Or you can call them.

Receive first-hand information and advice prior to your stay from your Potsdam Tourism Service via telephone or in writing. We offer you information and advice, reservation of accommodations, city round tours, round walks, and arrangement of group programmes. You can reach us at: +49(331) 2755 88 99 or online at tourismus-service‎@‎potsdam.de

HiKettamic

When you go to Potsdam, I hope that you visit nearby SCHLOSS CECILIENHOF, the site of the Potsdam Conference in 1945 with leaders of the Allies and Soviets following WWII. Very interesting and easy to navigate as I recall.

A great take for WWII buffs...
