Postcards From Italy
is the name of a song by the world-music band 'Beirut'. Although based in America, they have earned a rep for quirky, Euro-themed nostalgia, all oompah beats, trumpets and ukelele. They are nothing if not original.
We love them and once survived their gig here in Toronto, when they performed indoors during a heat wave when the promoter was too cheap to provide any actual seating (i.e. crowd was forced to stand and sweat through the entire show). Anyway, enjoy Zach and company below. I am done. The end. |
