Possible Future Heathrow Strike?

It would be a continuation of the recent BA strike but the article mentions *all* LHR union employees and a closing of the airport.

I just checked out the BBC website, and there is exhaustive information about the Heathrow/BA situation. No mention of a potential strike that could close the airport in the articles I read, but if somebody finds something let me know...I'm going in 3 1/2 weeks!

Hi Jules, On Thursday the BBC reported the Union's strike threat. If all the Union members walked-off in their "legal industrial action" it would shut-down LHR. Regards, Walter

"The Transport & General Workers' Union (T&G) warned it would support "legal industrial action" in a row over job cuts at catering firm Gate Gourmet".

Yikes.

Thanks Walter. I'll keep a close eye on it in the coming weeks.

I don't usually have much sympathy with strikers but Gate Gourmet seem to be firmly rooted in the nineteenth centure.
A lockout, for goodness sake!
