Positano to Rome in October
What's the best way to get from Positano to Rome in October? I initially thought hydrofoil from Positano to Naples, then train, but after further research it appears that the Positano-Naples hydrofouil service only runs in the summer.
We'll have lots of luggage since it's our honeymoon. Is there a better way than the Positano to Sorrento bus and then Sorrento to Naples train? How much would limo service from Positano to a rail station from which we could get to Rome (is Naples the closest?) cost? |
oops, or is that Salerno?

Ok, I think I'm answering my own question here. So there's a direct train to Rome from Salerno. How much will it cost to take a limo/taxi from Positano to Salerno?

Since you will be in Positano for a few days, have your hotel arrange a cab for you. Or on your walks around town, ask the local cab drivers, they can fix a price for you and then make an appointment to pick you up at your hotel, you can bargain with them too.

Hi karolina,
A limo from Positano to the Naples train station will be 80 - 90E. The Salerno/Rome train takes an additional 45 min and goes through Naples. |
