Positano to Rome - best way

I am trying to decide the best way for a family of 6 to travel from Positano to Rome. Please help

Option 1
Use Rome shuttle Limousine that will pick up at hotel in Positano and drop off at hotel in Rome for 650 euro

Option 2
Take ferry to Salerno then take a train to Rome and walk to hotel or taxi. I think the ferry will be 6 to 10 euros each but I am not sure what the cost is per ticket to ride the train. I think option 2 will take longer and will be much harder on us but I would like to know the cost

Thanks

Hire a driver to take you to Salerno and train from there. I will guess 100E for that transfer and about 50E each for the train tickets. Hire a driver from that area, not Rome. Look at tourofitaly.com---I bet you can get the total transfer for much less--perhaps 400E. Also look at this one also--they are based in Praiano near Positano.

Thanks Bob. I contacted Tour of Italy today and they will take us to Rome for 350 euros. Have you used them before? I checked Trip Advisor and they had several good comments about them.

If you are traveling in summer, there is a bus from Positano to Rome. The Marozzi bus departs Positano at 4:10 pm and arrives Rome at 9:00 pm. Cost is 20.50€ per person.

They are well known---father and son I believe.
That price is good.
