ekscrunchy- thank you for your reply. Yes I have seen some of these but some are old reviews. Was possibly looking for some recommendations that were more recent. I also looked under the restaurant tab above. Restaurants change all the time...well I dont know that to be fact in Positano but in south florida you could have a great place turn bad or go out of business. Th two I have picked out so far are Next2 and Da Castantino.

Actually, the good places in Italy do not tend to change much from year to year. It is a much different scene than in the US, where there is a new trendy place opening every five minutes.
You should specify
1. If you are willing to travel to another town; willing to take taxi or bus to a restaurant?
2. Price range
3. Do you care more about food or views/atmosphere? Do you want a down-home osteria (not too likely in Positano itself) or do you want an elegant restaurant...
4. Do you want meat, seafood, pizza, etc etc

We ate here in Sept 2007 and would definitely go again: http://www.latagliata.com/en/homepage
They will come pick you up and drive you home for free, beautiful views for a lovely lunch.

I am looking for recommendations in Positano. I do not have preference of food type and cost is not an issue. Just looking for some great places with good food and service. Thank you jamikins for your recommendation!

KSLS:
No doubts; I will select the restaurant at hotel La Sirennuse; views second to none for lunch; and for dinner, the restaurant is lighted with 400 (yes 400) candles.
The experience of a life(the price too of course).
Another good choice can be Cafe Positano.
Enjoy your stay!!!

we are in Positano for 4 nights. Here is what I have so far
1st night-dinner at hotel Adam & Eve
2nd night-Ristorante Da Costantino
3rd night-Next2
Does anyone have another recommendation for our last night dinner...maybe Le Sirenuse?
Also looking for the best place to get Pizza in Positano as well as a great and simple place for lunch one day.
thank you
