Positano Hotels

Has anyone stayed at either the Domina Royal or the Conca D'Oro hotel in Positano? I am booking a honeymoon trip in October, and they both look fantastic and are reasonably priced. Any advice you can give or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. They seem to be in a good location, but if not please let me know. Thanks!

Hi there

I haven't stayed at either of these hotels but I have stayed in Positano. probably one of the most important things to consider there is where on the huge cliff face it is located!

My hotel was located at the very top of the hill near the road in to Positano, and it was a fine walk down to the sea, but not so fine back up the hill at the end of the day. This also left us quite isolated from the town at night.

In any case it is a completely beautiful place, very popular with Americans and i'm sure you will have a great time there.

A little-known hotel, but one that a lot of celebs stay at is the San Pietro. One of my company's clients stays here every year. He can't say enough about it.

San Pietro...a little-known???
Ehm, it's one of the best known hotels, and few years ago it also got an international award as the best small hotel of the world...I don't know about that, but it's definitely a well known 5 stars hotel...and you pay for that!
