Positano for 1 week--hotel, B&B or apartment?

We'll be in Positano for 7 days in late April/early May. After much research, I am tending towards Villa Rosa,(we can't stretch to the more expensive options) but see that an apartment will cost us significantly less than a hotel. Now I am confused as to which option to go with. Does anyone have experiences with an apartment or a B&B? If you loved your apartment experience, would you share the name and why you chose this option.

We stayed a week in an apartment that we rented from www.summerinitaly.com and if was fantastic! HIghly recommend them.

I've seen pictures of wonderful-looking apartments to rent on the Amalfi Coast -- big terraces overlooking the Med.

But I haven't had this experience yet. There are rental reviews -- and agency reviews -- at Slow Travel: www.slowtrav.com/italy/vr/list.asp?r=Campania.

We've stayed at Villa Rosa three summers in a row, but I say go with a rental. We love Villa Rosa for the view but if you can get a rental with a view you may save some money.
