Positano boat trip with Lucibello
Has anyone used Lucibelloe for a private boat excursion out of Positano? We are looking for a half day trip for two adults and three children. They are charging 350. Euro. We will be there in early July.
We really want to get out on the water and explore the spectacular coastline. Any words of wisdom? Thank you |
A private boat would be lovely, but of course, costly. Have you considered taking one of the ferries down to Amalfi, over to Capri, or up to Sorrento? The views would be the same and a lot less expensive.

Sassafrass thank you for the reply. A trip to Capri on a larger tour is about 70Euros per person for a day. They do a long stop in Capri which we don't really want to do. Once we pay that for the five of us, we can have a private tour on our own boat for a half day. That seems to suit us better so we can go at our own pace with the kids.
Still hoping to find some suggestions of a boat company out of the main beach at Positano. |
How old are the kids? We are considering a kayak excursion with Amalfi Coast Sea Kayak tours. They get great reviews on Trip Advisor and I think you could see some of the coves and caves better. Not sure if they have any tandem kayaks but that might work well for younger kids, if you all are interested in kayaking.

Hi. Try Carmine Cacace: [email protected].
He arranges boat trips along the coast. Also Gialuca Savarese: www.privatedaytours.com I am not familiar with Lucibello but have used both of these companies while in Sorrento. Great service. both arrange boat trips |

TPAYT. Don't know where you might be staying (we rented a house) but we had Carmine for two meals and they were fantastic.
He also transports people because when we departed Naples I ran into him at the Naples airport and he was picking up people for a trip to Sorrento. |
I have several friends who have used Lucibello and they all had great trips. We will likely use them when we are back next year.
