Portugal weather Sept-Oct

We'll be in the Lisbon/Obidos area for a week, and then to Saville. I expect the weather to still be mild, but should we be packing sandals and capri pants or all slacks? Thanks for the packing advice!

I am curious about this, also. I've read in Lonely Planet Lisbon that Lisbon has a "pleasantly temperate climate" year-round. Apparently November to February are the wettest months.

I plan to be in Lisbon in mid-September, and it appears this is the cool-but-not-cold, and not-yet-raining time of the year. We'll see, I guess.

If anyone has more specific knowledge(actual experience?) can you let us know what to expect?

Well, Person X, I guess we're not getting any responses! I've been watching the current weather and Lisbon is about the same as here in the Midwest (USA). Guess we won't know how to pack till it gets closer to departure. Hope you have a great trip!
