Portugal in November

My wife and I are planning a trip to Portugal in November. We intend to start in Lisbon and then move our way north and eventually end up in Porto. However, it appears that the north receives quite a bit of rain during that time of the year. If we're looking to avoid, or at least minimize, the amount rain we experience on our trip, would it be best stay in south, in the Algarve region? Thanks in advance for the responses

November has 30 days in it and you are asking about the weather situation during those days over the whole country? You are not going to get an answer to that, I am sorry to say. Weather is totally unpredictable. Weather history website are not going to give you the answer you need, neither are the members here. If they do they are wasting their talents.
Want to avoid rain? then head for a desert. It rains a lot less but you still could be unlucky and hit a wet period.

Dear Ribeira, when I posted the last link, I had this picture in mind http://www.pensarlisboa.com/2012/04/...l#comment-form

rain for me can make an impressive photo. The reflections of the light just give it that something. Another good photo.
