Portugal Beaches 3-4 days

Hello,
I am traveling to Portugal arriving in Lisbon staying there for 4 days, then going to Porto for 4 days then I would like to spend the remainder of my trip at the beaches close to Lisbon 3-4 days. (Early June)Any suggestions? I have heard the Algarve is more commercialized now, so it is not necessary that I go there. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Both areas commercialised.

Algarve has more golf courses

What sort of beaches do you like, surf, lots of facilities or just golden sand and a shack?

Just sand and sun

How Nazare?

IMO, the best beach is way over at Tavira, it is on a large sandbank off the coast and you get there by a little ferry. There are also nice beaches in the national park just north of Sagres.

I don't know the Lisbon beaches that well, they all seem to have concrete esplenades and are built up whenever I'm there.

I've not been to Nazare but a quick look google shows the sort of thing I would expect of Lisbon (see above).

Google maps is your friend here.
