Anybody in the Pompey area today? HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH, the Royal Navy's latest aircraft carrier will be sailing @ 1800. Always a sight worth witnessing when one of our carriers leaves it's Home Port.

She's off across The Pond to test out some of the latest jet fighter planes.

Last time I sailed out of Portsmouth on a 'flat-top' was on 6 April 1982, on a trip down the South Atlantic to shoo away a few South American aggressors.

Will she be taking a tug just in case? :-)
