Hello
On the alsa.es - homepage, it's not possible to by a ticket from porto to santiago compostela (it's only possible vice versa). Where and how can I get that one way ticket ?

Thanks for your help

There is at least one train daily Porto-Vigo: www.cp.pt There are many TRD trains Vigo-Santiago. It's conceivable that one could get off at Redondela de Galicia or Pontevedra and catch the TRD coming from Vigo, headed for Santiago. I must confess: I never tried that ...

The Portuguese Train is uncomfortable and slow, and if you want to be assured of a seat you should buy a 'Preferente' ticket. The TRD is faster and much more comfortable, but you should buy a seat reservation.

Portugalia airlines (PGA) used to run a Minibus or Van from Porto airport to Vigo, coinciding with its arrivals. You might want to look into that.

Hi Marco, we were wanting to purchase bus tickets Lisbon to Sevilla with ALSA however, you can only purchase ALSA bus tickets online for those journeys that originate in Spain.

If you go to the ALSA website and click on the 'contact us' section you can fill out a form and ask them how you can purchase them. When I've done this they've answered within 48 hours and provided phone numbers and locations of where we could purchase the tickets.

Hope this is of some help to you.

There is a company called INTERNORTE which has regular bus service from Porto to Santiago (www.internorte.pt).

bus would be more convenient than the rail link we did - yup one a morning train Porto to Vigo then changing - but you could take Portugeuse trains to border and i think walk over bridge to get more trains to Vigo.

By all means take the bus.
