Porto to Evora via Lisbon Best way?
 

Begin trip in a week.We fly into Porto (4 days) then to Evora and surroundings (4 days) then Lisbon (4 days). We would like a car to explore Evora area. What is the best way? Thinking about taking a train from Porto to Lisbon and renting a car there. Is the scenery interesting or is our time better spent flying from Porto to Lisbon?

Trains will probably be quicker than flying and cheaper - www.cp.pt - Portuguese Railways site to book own ticket - earlier the cheaper. Scenery between Lisbon and Evora IME from taking train is rather interesting with lots of cork tree plantations but fairly dry and bleak someplaces. I'd maybe spend one less day in Evora and say a day in Sintra - also nice area to drive around.
