Porto Synagogue
 

My husband and I will be in Porto in late May. We would like to visit the synagogue there, however three emails to them have gone on answered.( The synagogue in Lisbon got back to me almost immediately). A guide that I have been corresponding with tells me that phone calls and emails to the synagogue inPorto have been going unanswered and that he believes the synagogue will no longer be open for visitors. However, a friend of mine was there two weeks ago and was able to tour the synagogue. Does anyone have any information about this?

If I look at their blog, they're quite active. Do you intend to go to services or use the mikveh?

I'd call them: that synagogue is headed by US Chabad shluchim.
