Porto and Madeira in November?
 

Thinking about this trip. Any thoughts or suggestions? Two 75 year olds, active, enjoy culture, nature, food.

One thing that struck me when we were visiting Porto this past summer is how every local reminded us that it rains a lot in Porto during the winter season, so keep that in mind.

My choice would be Madeira at that time of the year. Warm temperatures, lovely scenery, great food, excellent hotels.
