Pop-up
 

I'm constantly getting a pop-up asking if I want to open it. I never want to open pop-ups. What's the deal? Of course, the pop-up covers up the TravelTalk message so that's really annoying. I click "no" to not open but the message stays there. Boo Hiss! Never had this happen in years.

Just get the newest version of Firefox and use it for your browser. It's free and you will be done with all that nonsense.

If you're using Explorer you'll notice a little blue icon at the bottom right of your page. If you move your cursor on it it reads "Pop-ups were not blocked". Now right click your mouse and select "Turn on Pop-up Blocker". Should solve your problem.

Nancy, just to clarify. The little blue icon appears when the pop up is displayed.

I'm getting it too. I clicked on it to see if it went away, but it doesn't and I can't see that portion of the thread. I have my pop up blocker on (it's not a regular pop up).

I recommend that you send a comment to the fodors editor (see "contact us" at bottom of screen) and let them know exactly what you think of the annoying popup.

I use firefox and I get the pop up too.

I think it is not very smart of Fodors.com to use a pop up that gets in the way of us using the site the pop up is on.
