Pool use / Beach use in Bellagio

Can you pay to use the Hotel Belvedere pool in Bellagio if you aren't staying there? Any ideas on a good spot to jump in the water if the heat is too much on the Lake somewhere? Thanks!

I can't speak from experience, but I think the water in the lake is pretty cold. It's fed by alpine streams.

HI,
I have often wondered if you could swim in the lake. I was there years ago and rented a boat, but we did not swim. I was there in the summer, but it was not that hot and I did not have the desire to swim. Does anyone know how cold or warm the water is?

People do swim in the lake. The Serbelloni (can never spell it right and have given up trying) has one of those floats just off shore that is quite popular. I've dipped my toe but even when air is hot the water is a little frigid for my taste.

There is usually free public access to the lake at the "beach" (sand looks to be trucked in) by the lido, guess that's why it's the lido!

Can't answer your question about paying to use the hotel pools but my guess would be "no."

There is a public pool in Bellagio in a park that fronts the lake. It is an older pool on the small side (compared to an Olympic pool) but I'm sure it would be refreshing. My kids enjoyed it and adults were also using it but I watched from afar. I can't remember the price, but it was quite reasonable.

I forgot about the public pool that Kathryn mentioned... probably because it was empty when we were there in early October. Wonder when it's drained...?
