Poof... And all trace of Mr Dreamer (aka Vacationwannabe) have disappeared

Click on his name and he has gone to Fodors heaven (or is it Fodors h*ll).
This guy(s) will surely go into the anals as one of the most entertaining personalities of all time. Who will ever forget Anton ever rent a scooter or Smart car for cruising the burbs of Paris or Makers Mark, Folgers, Lipton Tea, Camels, to Paris, or ABBA vodka, or sandles and socks, or $350 hotel rooms of 94 sq meters (while worrying about breakfast), or buffets. He just tickled the absurd while retaining enough Gomer Pyle to keep us on the hook.
RIP Mr Dreamer...
*** surely he will sneak back on the forum in some other guise ***

jody Dec 21st, 2006 10:20 AM

No, they're still here...at about 27 right now.

robjame Dec 21st, 2006 10:26 AM

Jody - his posts are there if you search but if you click on his name in one of the posts I think you will see a different result

SuzieC Dec 21st, 2006 12:35 PM

RIP indeed. Everyone took him soooooooo seriously!
I remembered BobnBetty...and I think a Bamby...a couple of years ago ...

AnselmAdorne Dec 21st, 2006 01:16 PM

SuzieC, I remember Bambie (I think she spelled her name with an "ie"). Was she the poster who asked about life jackets on the gondolas?

LOL Ansel that was a great thread

suze Dec 21st, 2006 01:37 PM

Anslem, yes Faith & Bambi was the life jackets in gondolas among other things; I believe but am not certain the author name was Faithonholiday.

Suzie, I thought it was billynbettyjones, right? Actually Mr Dreamer reminds me a bit of them but with much better spelling and grammar.

"This guy(s) will surely go into the anals as one of the most entertaining personalities of all time."

Two n's in annals, or perhaps you are right :)

MarciaMarciaMarcia Dec 21st, 2006 02:31 PM

I've got to admit that the joke threads tickle my funny bone. I wish I saw the one about the lifejackets on gondolas! LOL!!

FainaAgain Dec 21st, 2006 02:35 PM

I finally found that gondola thread:

waring - no "anals" is the right spellig
LOL - there is a name for those kind of errors that actually make sense isn't there?

JeanneB Dec 21st, 2006 05:17 PM

I believe it's called a
Freudian "slap". LOL!

AnselmAdorne Dec 21st, 2006 05:53 PM

FainaAgain, thanks for digging it up. It's still hilarious.

I said in the seconmd or third post it was a troll but the troll police were doing each other so they didn't notice I guess.

SuzieC Dec 22nd, 2006 06:02 AM

no doubt trolling, but at least it gave people an opportunity to show their superiority...again and that's always a hoot.

troll police...hahaha

NeoPatrick Dec 22nd, 2006 06:27 AM
