Pompeii Entrance/ Train Station?
 

Hello. I am visiting Pompeii from Naples, so I will be taking the Circumvesuviana and was wondering which entrance to the Archeological Site is preferred (and subsequently which stop to get off the train)

Entrance from Porta Marina (train station: Pompei Scavi)

Entrance from Piazza Anfiteatro (train station: Pompei Santuario)

The Porta Marina/Pompei Scavi entrance is the "main" entrance. When you get off the Circumvesuviana, it is literally right across the road.

The Pompei Santuario/Piazza Anfiteatro stop is a bit further away from the ruins' back entrance - maybe a 10-15 minute walk.
