PNPPARIBAS?
Bank of America tells me they have an ATM arrangement with PNPPARIBAS banks in france. Is this an easily found bank/ATM locations en France? Merci.
|
Yes. Its one of the major banks. Unless you are somewhere fairly rural you shouldnt have a problem.
Here is their website: http://www.bnpparibas.com/en/home/ |
Surely it's BNP Paribas? It's certainly a big bank with several branches in central Paris, for instance.
You could do a google search for the towns you are interested in |
yes, except the name is BNP Paribas. Tons in Paris, anyway, their ATMs have black and red logos on them (signs, really). I imagine plenty in other French cities as it is a very big European bank, and I believe it is French in origin, also (although in other countries).

It's BNP Paribas - they have some 2700 ATMs in France. This link will take you to a site where you can enter an address and see where the closest ATMs are:

In Paris, there seems to be one in every block. However, in other cities, there were not as conveniently located. I use ATM cards from different banks when BNP ATMs are not conveniently located because BofA ATM foreign transaction fees outside their ATM alliance are high.

thanks!

BNP Paribas have a green logo. It's Société Générale with the red and black.

B of A charges a $5 per withdrawal fee except at BNP ATMs. However, there are many other banks or credit unions that will charge you nothing to make withdrawals from any ATM that is convenient.
