Plus Size Clothing Stores in Spain

Hi everyone,
I will be traveling to Spain in June, and I was wonder if there were any plus size clothing stores. I will be traveling to, Madrid, Barcelona, and all over! Thank you for your help!

There is a plus size section in every Corte Ingles.

And there are a couple chains of quite nice clothing, but the names escape me. There will be a shop or two in most malls. Corte Inglés DOES have a wonderful selection of everything in general. It is always a good place to try if you happen to be in a large city.

Ask for "Ropa de TALLA GRANDE" and your hotel can hopefully direct you to one of the local chains or shops.

Thank you so much! I will be sure to do that!

Marina Rinaldi/Persona is an Italian brand of plus-sized clothes, owned by or part of same group as Max Mara.

High end but good sales. I have seen stores in London and Florence. The brand is also carried by Nordstrom, Saks, Printemps. Don't know about Madrid--I couldn't find much on their website, even in English, but maybe you'll have better luck, www.marinarinaldi.com

Hi bebe,

El Corte Ingles usually have a Persona corner in their plus sizes department.

There is a Marina Rinaldi in Serrano street in Madrid, near the Goya corner.

I don´t know your age, but Punto Roma (geared towards a middle-aged market) has some plus-size clothes.

Adolfo Dominguez began a new plus-size collection a couple of years ago and you can find it in the Corte Ingles and in their own stores. It is called Adolfo Dominguez +, and it is very much in line with his normal collections.

Depending on your size, some of the Mango models run up to a 46.

Kanak is a store geared towards young girls :

And of course, there is always old faithful H&M.

Hope you find what you are looking for,

What is H & M ?

lincasanova May 6th, 2009 10:54 AM

H+M is a Swiss based low cost apparel chain.

elina May 6th, 2009 11:17 AM

H+M is Swedish, not Swiss.

And there's Elena Miró which also has a plus size line. It was even shown during Milan Fashion Week.
You'll find a store on Ayala 24 in the Salamanca district.
