plug adaptors for Switzerland

I've been googling about this, and I find I'm still very confused. I own several plug adapters for continental Europe, with the 2 round prongs on them. It seems like I can use these in Switzerland, but there are also some 3 pronged outlets.

Do I need to get a 3 prong adaptor? will my 2 prong plugs be guaranteed to work in all outlets? DH has a cpap, so having a working adapter is a necessity. And why is it that all the 3 prong adapters seem to be the large "universal" type that fit all kinds of plugs? All I really want is a small US->Switzerland adapter and it doesn't seem to exist.

All you need to know.

Was that CPAP machine made so that it could be SOLD in countries other than the US or Canada? If so you will not have a problem with using just an adaptor.

it is dual voltage, yes. We've used it overseas before. So I know I only need an adapter and not a converter. So my only question is if the 2 prong adapter is sufficient, or if there is some reason I should get a 3 prong oe.

the link dulcius provided states that the 2 prong is enough. I saw at least one website that conflicted with that, seeming to say that some outlets were inset, and the 2 prong plugs either wouldn't fit, or would be difficult to get at, I'm not sure. So i guess I would just like to hear from folks with anecdotal experience say that they had no issues with the 2 pronged plugs.

Switzerland uses mostly the 3-prong triangular plugs (J plugs in Kropla-speak), rather rarely you can find German Schuko plugs (F plugs in Kropla-speak). The European 2-prongs plug (C plug in Kropla-speak) is compatible with both - as long as you do not need an earth connection.
