Plitvice Lakes or Zagreb museums...

At the end of this month we will be visiting Zagreb for two days. On the first day we will be taking a tour of the city. On the second day we have the option of visiting some of the musuems in Zagreb or taking a day tour to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Any advice?

My vote would be Plitvice. I missed the park on my trip to Croatia last year and really regret it. Everything I have seen makes it look incredible.

I haven't been to the museums but Plitvice Lakes are the most amazing color. I thought it was worth seeing.

If you enjoy nature scenery and walking, Plitvice Lakes will be the highlight of the whold trip. I wouldn't miss it for anything.

I would also vote for Plitvice. I was born and raised in Zagreb before moving to the States (many years ago!)and have been back a number of times. The best part of Zagreb is the Old Town, and you shouldn't miss that, but the Plitvice Lakes are a must!! You won't regret it!
