Please recommend a 2bdrm Rome apartment w/terrace?
 

We would really like a terrace with nice views when we go to Rome next year.

Pantheon, Campo de Fiori, Navona, Spanish Steps, any of those areas preferred. 2 bedroom minimum, at least 1.5 bath, AC, hopefully a washer. Prepared to spend around euro 250/night.

Has anyone stayed in a wonderful apartment like this that they can recommend?

I have looked through Italy Perfect, Sleep in Italy, VRBO, Homeaway, just hoping for some personal recommendations! Help!

We used them last year, staying in a terrific 2 br apartment on via Montserrato (near Campo de Fiori) I would recommend it for you, but no terrace - just shutters overlooking an ancient narrow, cobbled street.

The company was great to deal with - had a real-time on-line chat while I was sorting out best apartment for us and booking. Website has great photos / videos clips of all apartments - we certainly found description and photos of "our" apartment to be accurate.

Realise that, but there are plenty of others on their books, including some with terraces / balconies.

We stayed in an apartment with two terraces, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a washer and dryer. Lots of space! But it was more than 250 Euro/night. It was more like 450/Euro. It overlooked Largo Argentina. Great location. It was on the 5th floor with an elevator.

I also have this one bookmarked in Trastevere (we love staying there - short walk to Campo/Navona/etc) and it looks like it fits your budget

ShellD ~ yes the 450 euro/night is too much, but I realized I goofed in my initial post ~ I'm prepared to spend 2500 euro/week, which is about 357 euro/night

However if Fodorites can find me one for 250 euro a night :)

Wrenwood, I stayed in a great 2-bed, 2-bath apt in Trastevere a few weeks ago. Nice roomy balcony, on 5th floor w lift.

Mind you, it is not centrally located, but is right across the street from the tram and the Trastevere train station. Dozens of buses also within walking distance. I was able to reach every area of Rome in a matter of minutes!

Decided to stay near Borghese. The last time we were in Rome we had a tour for Borghese booked with Context, they had to cancel and re-schedule because of something with Borghese, we couldn't change our plans to accommodate the new time, so we missed out.

I decided it would be fun to stay near Borghese, different area, easy walk to Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Vatican. If we go to the Colisseum and nearby sites or Ostica Antica, Trastevere, or the Catacombs, we have a Metro nearby, or will take a bus or train. We never did that last time we walked everywhere.

I think it will be nice to walk in Borghese Park in the morning or evening if we want to.

Apartment is great, terraces wrap around 3 sides!
