Please Reccommend An Amsterdam Restaurant For Christmas Dinner

Hi! My husband & I will be in Amsterdam this Christmas (leaving in 4 weeks & counting!) I have been searching for restaurant suggestions for Christmas dinner, but all I have come up with is that we will definitely need reservations. Any suggestions? We're not picky & don't have any requirements pricewise. Although we're not looking for a "traditional" x-mas meal, we would prefer something continental since we'll have plenty of other days for culinary adventures (the Indonesian rice dishes sound yummy!) Would Christmas Eve reservations also be advised? Thanks for any & all help!

While in Amsterdam last month, we were pleasantly surprised with dinner at the restaurant in the Sheraton Hotel Pulitzer, near the Anne Frank house.
The food was quite good, the wines also.
We loved the wall painting.Take a peak!
I always find the Blauwbrug, across from the Muziektheater, to be reliable: good, tasty food in good-sized portions, lovely service, and a traditional, maritime style of decor (cosy). The prices are very reasonable too.

Phone: 020-6381462
Fax: 0299-656492

If you're already fixed up with something, enjoy! Amsterdam's fantastic over the festive period.
