Another thumbs up for Taverna San Trovaso. Ditto on Louis' comments.<BR>

I will always eat at 'La Madonna' on the street of the same name. Just across the Rialto brige. Worth every step of your search to find it.Recommended to me by my italian friend whi lives just outside of Venice. You will not be disappointed. I have not found another restaurant of its type in Venice, though there are a few good ones. Takes practice to find them. Enjoy !!!!

Yet another vote for San Trovaso. As a rule, avoid places with six-language menus and neon lights.
