We stayed at the Bellevue. I am pasting the notes from my trip report, that is somewhere im the forum.
After a picturesque drive, we arrived at our Hotel Bellevue at Gardone Riviera, right at the detour for the Vittoriale, www.hotelbellevuegardone.com . It is a late 1800s building, but the bathrooms are new, with brand new grohe faucetts and noise isolation. This hotel is not at the edge of the lake, but a 50mtrs walk, though separated by the road that circles the lake (which has different names), which has heavy traffic and it is noisy, though we could hardly notice it in our room. Double room for 104€/day, with excellent breakfast.
Il Signore Franco was very kind to us, and they gave us good info on food places.

we were planning on eating at this restaurant, villa fiordaliso, as we thought it was a restaurant with a few rooms upstairs.

we thought if the rooms werenīt too bad, we might stay.

turns out.. this place was a palatial home ON THE WATER. a gorgeous villa.

our budget wouldnīt allow for it all, so we decided to take the kids and us for pizza and salad down the road while we indulged in this marvelous memorable surprise lodging.

The Fiordaliso, almost in front of Bellevue but on the shore strip, was past our budget too, and I had read on this forum some remarks by poster that spent the night there and was very disturbed by the music from the disco.
