Please help with Brussels hotel

I will be visiting Brussels during the middle of November and would appreciate some help with an hotel, please.

We are there for an international exhibition, so the hotel should preferably be easily accessible to the Exhibition Centre in Heysel - no problem with traveling by metro. Our budget is about 115 Euro per day.

Have tried the Bedford and Holiday Inn Garden Court Expo hotels but they are full.

My favorite is the Hotel Welcome and there is a metro stop right in front of it.Their deluxe rooms are still in your price range . Everyone I've recommeded it to has loved it.

Heysel is easily reached by metro from central Brussels, although the ride takes about 20 minutes. So you really do have plenty of hotels to choose from. Check the Sofitel Toison d'Or. It's a 4 star hotel with very comfortable rooms that often has rates in your range. From there, catch the metro (line 2) to Simonis then transfer to the Line 1 metro to take you to Heysel. You can also get to Heysel by tram, but the trams take longer and can get very crowded. Plus the trams serving Heysel are the old trams, which can be very jerky and have small seats.
Which exhibition? Cocoon?
www.hotels.de will give you some ideas of the hotels available and price ranges. I don't think you will have much trouble finding a good hotel in your price range. You'll probably be happier in the end staying somewhere more central than Heysel as there aren't that many good restaurants out that way.

We stayed here in 2002 - quite nice and about 3 blocks from Grand Place. The rates have a wide range from weekday to weekend and exhibition days...
