I don't know, Bitter. As the presumed paying party, I think parents deserve a lot of "say" in where their kids go to uni.

My daughter spent spring semester at Regent's University there, and loved it. My regret now is that she's dying to go back for even longer.

I'm not saying they don't. I just think the kid would be doing the research, particularly since (a) they will live with the decision; and (b) presumably they understand their major better than their parent.

This question was posted over a year ago. I am guessing the OP's daughter has already returned home from studying abroad.
