Please help me remember the name of this paris restaurant

I think I read on this forum of a bistro with views of Hotel de Ville, particularly mentioned was watching ice skaters in the winter. I have searched but can't find anything that sounds like this. I have searched in Pudlo and Zagat--does this sound familiar to anyone?
Thanks!

No but when I was there , there were several across from the rink opposite the Hotel d ville. Nothing was close though to get a good view.

Thanks for the info. I tried a google search but didn't find the name that sounded familiar. it seems that what I read sounded like a review, but I just can't find the source. It seems like it was more bistro than cafe. We have just returned and are already talking about "next time"!!!

Could it be Le Vieux Bistro?

Just in case, we had a terrible meal there.

That is definitely not it and I am glad if your experience there was that bad!

Maybe the Marguerite is the place--I know it was not in BHV. It is not in Pudlo nor Zagat so I must have read about it in another source.

Marguerite has a nice old wooden floors and well weathered furniture. It is definitely the most pleasant establishment across from the Hôtel de Ville.
