Hello,

I would like to know how the Month of October is for the South of France. I am staying at La Tartane in St. Tropez and Les Roches in Le Lavandou.

Aside from the fact that you won't be swimming, it is a great time to be here. Weather should be good and a whole lot less crowded than june-september. St. Tropez, without the crowds, is one of my favorite spots along the Coast.

Not only are you much more likely to attract help from those who know about St. Tropez and Le Lavandou. As it is now, your post is quite inconsiderate - - it requires anyone who wants to know what you're asking - - to click on your post just to find out.

That's what headers are supposed to do.

I don't entirely blame you. Fodors is quite remiss in not seeing that new registrants like yourself get introduced to tbe basic info - - available if you click on those tiny little red letters "HELP" in the upper left hand corner. In my experience, October is wonderful in the south of France. Try to make time to drive the Corniche de l'Esterel - - from Frejus to Cannes - - superb.
