Which hotel is on the best beach in Sardinia, the Flamingo or the Cormoran?

Re: Forte Village, some articles about the resort say meals are included, but I don't see it on the web site. When I called Le Meridien, they couldn't seem to give me a straight answer either. Do you know?

Anyone know what the beach is like at the Hotel Sporting, Porto Rotondo. I am afraid it may be polluted from the harbor. Has anyone stayed there?

Another question. If you have never driven in Italy, is it difficult to drive from Porto Cervo to the Southeastern tip of Sardinia? Is there a ferry that runs from Porto Cervo to Cagliari?
