Please can people be specific when they write their message titles..

There are so many posts which are open ended - such as 'First Trip to Europe' - when the actual post is really very specific, referring to particular countries/regions/interests/hotels etc. I think that everyone wants to be helpful, so let's make it easier and less time consuming..? Please.

Marion, I agree 100000% percent. It seems many people ASSUME everyone is aware of every little hotel or restaurant or town, etc. in the world.

I am new to this board and find it fascinating and very educational. But I look at some of the headings and think, what the heck are they talking about.

It's best, I think, to figure nobody has any idea of what you are talking about, so please be specific in you heading.

xxx

Yes, and I'm starting to skip right over those that just say "I have a question", "hotels", or "trip information". At least a country, city, or some bit of specific narrowing down would be nice. Although, actually I think recent posts have been much better about this.

Let's keep this on the first page in the top 50, okay?

On the "Post a New Message" screen, the instructions say to give your post a clear, identifying title. Probably nobody reads that and nobody will read this thread either. Or else some people just think that "Need Help, Please" or "Going to Europe" are clear and identifying!

By repeatedly topping this topic you drive other posts to the bottom. What you are doing is redundant anyway since clear instructions are given to anyone posting a message. This appears on the post a message page - Make your message easy to find: Give it a clear, identifying title, and pick the most accurate search topic (you can select more than one topic by holding down the Control or Apple button).

Anyone who can't follow simple instructions like that probably isn'
t going to understand how to get from Malpensa to Florence or Gatwick to London anyway. Simply ignore the posts.

I'm topping this so people will know not to top it.
I reluctantly have to agree with quittopping. It appears that many poster to this site flunked the Florida voting requirements. Something about "clear instructions" that nobody reads.
Unbelievable!

This question is completely aside, but how do some of these posters get a drivers license? Job? Balnce a check book? Walk and chew gum?

SCARY!! I think I'll save the world!!

HiAl
